El público eligió a sus favoritos. Sandra Bullock se llevó 2 premios. Big Band Theory fue elegida mejor comedia, y hasta hubo premio para Up y Bastardos sin gloria. Pero fue Crepúsculo (Twilight) la gran triunfadora de la noche.

La taquillera saga sobre vampiros que protagonizan Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart y Taylor Lautner se llevó cuatro premios People´s Choice Awards 2010 la noche del miércoles en Los Angeles. No sorprende, ya que el público los adora, y no olvidemos que el ganador es quien más votos tiene del público, no necesariamente el mejor pero sí el más popular.

En la ceremonia también destacó Sandra Bullock, quien se llevó dos premios, uno como mejor actriz de cine (según el público) y otro premio por su película La proposición (The Proposal) que fue elegida la mejor comedia del año.

Otros ganadores importantes en la categoría cine fueron Johnny Depp como mejor actor y Hugh Jackman como mejor héroe de acción, por Wolverine. La película de Disney, Up, ganó en película familiar y Malditos Bastardos como mejor película independiente.

En televisión ganó Big Band Theory en la categoría comedia, los geeks están de moda. Y House se llevó el premio en drama. También ganaron American Idol y por supuesto una serie de vampiros (no podía faltar) The Vampire Diaries. A continuación la lista completa de nominados y ganadores:
